Carmen Villarreal of Casa San Matias Tequila recently traveled from her historic distillery in Jalisco, Mexico to host a special tequila tasting event at Tres Agaves Restaurant in San Francisco. On February 18th Villarreal hosted the restaurant’s Distillery of the Month dinner, leading tastings of seven different San Matias Tequila labels.
As the only female owner and CEO of a tequila distillery, Villareal also shared her personal story as head of an historic tequila brand.

El 18 de febrero, Villarreal fue la anfitriona de la cena Destilería del Mes del restaurante, presentando degustaciones de siete marcas diferentes de Tequila San Matías.
La taquería La Gran Chiquita, ubicada en el corazón de la Fruitvale en Oakland, celebró su séptimo aniversario el pasado mes de noviembre. Hablar del séptimo aniversario se dice fácil pero para los pequeños negocios que día con día tienen que innovar y reinventarse a sí mismos, sobre todo en estos tiempos de cambios y retos no es nada fácil.
